Trainwreck actress Amy Schumer recently announced an arena tour of the UK for her stand-up comedy, coinciding with the publication of her first book The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo. This will be Schumer’s first British shows since the success of Trainwreck and her sketch show Inside Amy Schumer, which is on its fourth series for Comedy Central. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday June 10, priced £35-£130 for London and £50-£100 for Manchester and Edinburgh.

She is also announced to be included in a new comedy Who Invited Her? , as well as in Thank You For Your Service, an independent film about US soldiers’s struggle in the family life just after returning from Iraq. Schumer’s book The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo is published by Simon & Schuster on August 16 and is described as “a series of personal – extremely personal – essays”.
