After starring in Battleship in 2012, the “Work” hitmaker Rihanna is reportedly landed another role in the movie industry. The busy star is set to join the cast of Ocean’s 8 (the Ocean’s 11 spinoff), according to the reports. She will be playing alongside Hollywood stars such as Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock. Also ready to close a deal are Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Mindy Kaling.
Production is set to kick off in October, in New York City. The film will be produced by Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh, and Ross wrote the script with Olivia Milch.
